Abstract: Natural haircare ingredient composition and haircare compositions containing such natural haircare ingredient compositions are provided. In one novel aspect, the natural hair ingredient composition is provided which comprises candida Krusei mediated bio-modification of marine organism and plants including bio-modified natural marine surfactants, three-dimensional molecular framework, and natural mineral salts. In one embodiment, the natural surfactants are produced from natural marine organisms such as brown algae, sea kelp, sponge, brown seaweeds, and red seaweeds by candida Krusei mediated bio-modification. In another novel aspect, a haircare composition comprises about 10% of the natural haircare ingredient composition, by weight of the haircare composition. In one novel aspect, Candida Krusei bio-modification process is used. Natural polymeric compounds in the marine plants are modified during the process resulting in three-dimensional molecular framework.

Abstract: A process for the production of naturally and organically fermented glycerin includes cleaning and sanitizing of the fermentation equipment prior to fermentation without using any traditional synthetic organic hydrocarbon-based chemicals. The fermentation process uses a non-chemical nutrient and nitrogen source from natural proteins during the fermentation to reduce trace amounts of toxins or contaminants. A purification stage following the fermentation process increases the purity of the glycerin to a desired level.

Abstract: Gynostemma extract compositions containing gynostemma extract and at least a carrier liquid are used as cleaning agents, emulsifiers, skin care products, and foaming agents. The gynostemma extract alone or together with other herbal extracts is mixed with water, glycerin, or a mixture of water and glycerin to produce the surfactant composition. The extracts have distinctive surface tension altering functions, reducing the surface tension of aqueous solutions and allowing foam formation, micelle formation, and emulsification with oil, dirt and water insoluble substances, and may also be used as an emulsification agent with other ingredients in cosmetic or personal care products.
