Abstract: A telescopic column for an X-ray imaging apparatus includes a main column, a sub-column liftably arranged on one side of the main column, and a weight compensator arranged on an opposite side of the main column to compensate for a weight of the sub-column, wherein the weight compensator includes a cam formed such that a radius of winding of a wire therearoud changes according to a lifting height of the sub-column, and an elastic member configured to extend and contract according to rotation of the cam to provide elastic force to compensate for the weight of the sub-column.
