Abstract: A networked computer system providing an automated control system that enables a sensor client to securely communicate with a heterogeneous set of unique sensors. The system enables autonomous secure identification of specific sensors capable of system inter-operation. Recognized sensors are autonomously paired and the connection secured using a password unique to the sensor and autonomously managed by the system. Measurement data is source encrypted using a well-defined public key, thereby providing data security that extends uninterrupted from the sensor itself to an appropriately authorized subsystem of the control system.

Abstract: A sensor communications system provides for the secure transfer of sensor measurement data from sensor devices to a remote, network connected server system. The sensor devices include processor to encrypt a sensor measurement data stream using the public key of an asymmetric key pair and to transmit the encrypted sensor measurement data stream through the local network interface. The remote server system includes a network gateway and a compute server with the compute server being couplable to the network gateway and an authorization server storing the private key of the asymmetric key pair. The compute server operates to decrypt the encrypted sensor measurement data stream using the private key and to process the decrypted sensor measurement data stream for presentation a user of the remote server system.

Abstract: A method of securely serializing product units to provide a trusted basis for the recording of transaction events reflecting distribution actions within and between supply chain participant vendors. The method involves receiving vendor data including vendor public data descriptive of a given product unit, generating a unique serial number to be securely associated with the given product unit, the unique serial number including a public serial number and a unique nonce, generating a cryptographic hash of the unique serial number and the vendor public data, generating a cryptographic signature of the cryptographic hash using a predetermined private key, and returning marking data including the public serial number.
