Moreover, the method and apparatus includes sending an update message to the mobile device based on the data values for updating a display of the mobile device.

The method and apparatus further includes receiving, at the network application on the server, an event message from a mobile application executing on a mobile device, the mobile application having executable code embedded therein for communicating with the network information for presenting a user interface for the network application on the mobile device, the event message reporting an action taken via the user interface.
