Patents Assigned to DRS Training & Control Systems, LLC
  • Publication number: 20240426582
Abstract: A method of generating an ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulse includes initiating a voltage source, producing a voltage pulse using the voltage source, and receiving the voltage pulse at a bipolar vector inversion generator (VIG) assembly. The method also includes compressing and amplifying the voltage pulse using the bipolar VIG assembly to produce a compressed, differential voltage pulse, further compressing the compressed, differential voltage pulse using a peaking gap assembly to produce a balanced peak pulse, applying the balanced peak pulse to one or more sets of antenna arms, and radiating the ultra-wideband electromagnetic pulse using an antenna assembly.

  • Patent number: 12117272
Abstract: An ultra-wideband electromagnetic source includes a voltage source and a pulser assembly electrically coupled to the voltage source. The pulser assembly includes a bipolar vector inversion generator (VIG) assembly, a peaking gap assembly coupled to the VIG assembly, and an oil lens assembly coupled to the peaking gap assembly. The ultra-wideband electromagnetic source also includes a balanced antenna assembly including one or more sets of antenna arms coupled to the oil lens assembly and an antenna reflector coupled to the one or more sets of antenna arms.

  • Publication number: 20130034400
Abstract: A safety and restraint assembly allows transition of palletized cargo into a cargo bay and prevents the palletized cargo from inadvertently rolling backwards out through the cargo bay door. The assembly includes a wedge-shaped, spring-loaded, anti-rollout component that rotates downward as force from a pallet is applied to the anti-rollout component during loading of pallets, and the anti-rollout component returns to its original position after the pallet has traversed entirely over the anti-rollout component. The assembly also includes a folding restraint pawl for vertical restraint of adjacent pallets during transport. In an engaged position, the restraint pawl snaps into a slot in the anti-rollout component.
