The concentration of lipid peroxides formed by the autoxidation of lipids, and the concentration of oxygen free radicals, are reduced by continuously administering antioxidant agents. The regeneration of nerve tissue is improved by continuously administering at least one pharmaceutically-acceptable B complex vitamin.
