Abstract: Hand-held hair dryer having a housing provided with air inlet, an electric fan, and power supply. The hair dryer is provided with an upper air outlet and a lower air outlet extending substantially in opposite directions out from the housing and provided with heating element. The lower air outlet also serves as a grip. The housing is provided with a throttle arranged pivotably about a pivot. The throttle is operated by a button between a first position where the upper air outlet is blocked and the lower air outlet is open to air flow, and a second position where the air flows in a direction opposite of the first.
