    Abstract: A vented plug for a hubcap is disclosed and is comprised of a rubber, elastomer or Neophrene.TM. material having an insert molded therein with the insert being impervious to water and other contaminants so that water and other contaminants may not enter the interior of the hubcap but which permits the passage of air therethrough so that excessive pressure within the hubcap may be vented.
