Abstract: In the device for pivotally connecting neighboring car bodies of a rail vehicle, especially for commuter traffic, each car body (1,2) is supported by a ball-and-socket joint (6) on a common swiveling railway truck (4). The swiveling railway truck (4) carries a central portal (3) between the car bodies and the central portal (3) is coupled kinematically by means of a swiveling linkage mechanism with them in the vicinity of a roof of the car bodies. The swiveling linkage mechanism includes car body arms (7) pivotally connected to the car bodies (1,2) and central portal arms (8) pivotally connected with the central portal (3) and with the car body arms (7). Both car bodies (1,2) and the central portal (3) form lower legs of two kite-shaped quadrilateral linkages and the car body arms (7) and the central portal arms (8) form the upper legs of the quadrilateral linkages.

Abstract: A bogie for rail vehicles has a frame, two wheel sets connected with the frame and provided with bearings, a steering linkage for achieving radial adjustments of the wheel sets on curved tracks, springs disposed between the frame and the bearings of the wheel sets, the steering linkage being connected to the bearings of the wheel sets below a horizontal central plane of the bearings, laminated steering rods for guiding the bearings on the wheel sets in a longitudinal and a transverse direction, the laminated steering rods acting on the frame about the horizontal central plane, each of the laminated steering rods being resilient and acting parallel to the springs, the steering linkage including a transverse rod, and a transverse bumper arranged between the transverse rod of the steering linkage and the frame.

Abstract: A rail vehicle, has at least two vehicle sections joined pivotably to one another so as to provide an intermediate space dimension to suit relative motions while traveling around curbs as well as over dips and humps, at least one line provided for each of the vehicle sections for electrical current, air or hydraulic fluid, the at least one line having a line segment that compensates a relative motion of the vehicle sections, a sleeve which spans the intermediate space between the vehicle sections, the sleeve enveloping the line and being connected to the line in a shear-resistant manner, the line segment that compensates for the relative motions of the vehicle sections outside the sleeve extending in a horizontal disposition.

Abstract: A mounting arrangement for a ventilation or heating system for passenger vehicles having an air duct located in the interior of the vehicle includes an angularly-shaped profile enclosing the air duct. The profile has an upper end portion secured to a clamping device connected to the side wall of the vehicle and a lower end portion which is positioned within a support element formed of an elastic yieldable material having a pair of projecting lips forming a space therebetween to receive the end of the lower end portion and extended to engage this end portion upon insertion therebetween.
