Abstract: An aqueous emulsion of fluorocarbon polymer according to the present invention is characterized by that the emulsion comprises a sodium dialkylsulfosuccinic acid of not less than 1.5% by weight relative to the fluorocarbon polymer, and an alkyleneglycol. A method for producing a stabilized aqueous emulsions of fluorocarbon polymer according to the present invention comprises mixing an aqueous emulsion of fluorocarbon polymer obtained by an emulsion polymerization process with a sodium dialkylsulfosuccinic acid dissolved in an alkyleneglycol or an aqueous solution of the alkyleneglycol. A novel aqueous emulsion of fluorocarbon polymer having excellent mechanical stability and thermal stability is obtainable.
Abstract: A fluororesin powder liquid dispersion comprising heat-flowable fluororesin powder, liquid dispersion medium having a surface tension of not more than 45 dyne/cm, and organic liquid with a boiling point of 150.degree.-340.degree. C. provides thick film fluororesin treatment by a single application.
Abstract: A tetrafluoroethylene/fluoroalkoxy trifluoroethylene copolymer (PFA) composition which has finer spherulite diameters compared to a conventional PFA is provided, so as to give fabricated articles having excellent surface smoothness, and which are free from problems, such as process contamination and the like, caused by leaching. This effect is obtained by incorporating into the composition prior to fabrication a polytetrafluoroethylene having a crystallization temperature of at least 305.degree. C. and a heat of crystallization of at least 50 J/g.
Abstract: A process for the catalytic decomposition of chlorofluoro-alkanes commonly named as "flons" into harmless substances against destructing ozone layer of the stratosphere by using the catalyst comprising alumina or alumina -silica complexed oxide, wherein the range of Al/(Al+Si)atomic ratio is 1.0 to 0.5, in the presence of steam at the temperature of 350.degree. to 1.000.degree. C.
Abstract: A partially fluorinated alumina catalyst having a determined component, which is obtained by calcining an Al.sub.2 O.sub.3.nH.sub.2 O(n=0 to 3) containing fibril of polytetrafluoroethylene, provides an excellent catalyst for the isomerization of HCFCs.
Abstract: A process for the catalytic decomposition of chlorofluoro-alkanes commonly named as "flons" into harmless substances against destructing ozone layer of the stratosphere by using the catalyst comprising iron oxide supported on active carbon at the temperature more than 300.degree. C. in the presence of steam.
