  • Patent number: PP30104
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-PKF’, characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, upright growth, and large a large double flower characterized by a lack of an eye zone, or in some cases, an indistinct, extremely faint red blush at the base of the petals extending to about a quarter of the petal length of the outer petal whorl. The ribs of the outer whorl, as well as any petaloids, are a soft pinkish ivory. As the ribs split into venation, they extend through a soft pink body which extends to the petal edge. Doubling petaloids having the same radial color characteristics as the outer whorl are generally present, usually attached low on the staminal column, such as at the base or just above it. Any petaloids originating at higher points on the staminal column are usually much smaller than those with basal origin.
