Abstract: A connector end piece of a control cable from a vehicle transmission to a ball joint of a part of a gearshift or of a part of the transmission, where the end piece is intended to go over the cable and includes a radial window able to receive, by engagement, a cover having an inner threaded portion, where the cover is movable from a disengaged position to an engaged position in which it engages with a threaded end portion of the cable and locks said cable in position. The end piece comprises an end annular portion, coaxial with the cable, and receiving a security ring, said security ring being movable from an unlocked position to a locked position in which the cover is in disengaged position, the ring holds the cover in the disengaged position and prevents the cover from moving into the engaged position; and when the cover is in engaged position, the ring holds the cover in the engaged position and prevents the cover from moving into the disengaged position.

Abstract: A visual recognition system for a vehicle, comprising a plastic capping and an electronic module positioned near an internal face of the plastic capping; said electronic module comprising a sealed housing, a printed circuit board positioned inside the housing, and an optical sensor positioned inside the housing and connected to the printed circuit board; wherein the housing comprises at least one transparent part which is placed in front of the optical sensor and is transparent to visible light; wherein the plastic capping comprises at least one portion which forms a first optical lens placed in front of the optical sensor and the transparent part; and wherein the optical sensor is designed to capture an image outside the vehicle through the transparent part and the first optical lens. A method for implementing such system is also described.

Abstract: An illuminated trim fitting for a motor vehicle, in particular a trim fitting as a cover fitting of a sealing strip for the window channel of a vehicle door, is intended to provide a high-quality illuminating effect accompanied at the same time by a simple structural design, low manufacturing costs and space-saving attachment. In addition, the trim fitting is to differ as little as possible externally from non-illuminated trim fittings. For this purpose there is provision that a light gap is formed between a profiled strip of the trim fitting and the adjacent vehicle outer skin, through which light gap the light emitted by a lighting structure provided on the rear of the trim fitting can exit to the outside.

Abstract: An exterior trim for a motor vehicle has a body that forms a surface of the exterior trim. The body has an exterior surface and an interior surface, and defines a recess or cut-out. The body has a single undulating wall formed on the interior surface of the body substantially perpendicular to a plane defined by the body, and the single undulating wall at least partially surrounds the recess or cut-out. The exterior trim also includes a human-machine interface (HMI) device disposed at least partially within the recess or cut-out of the body. The HMI device may be used to externally control certain features of the motor vehicle.

To improve such trim, the first component (7) is at least partly transparent or semi-transparent. Abstract: A trim strip arrangement is provided. The trim strip arrangement includes a profiled strip which partially covers a sealing profile and an end portion uniform lighting of a light gap without negatively affecting the external appearance of the trim strip arrangement. Provision is made for an external surface of the end portion to be configured as a visible surface which is optically matched to the external appearance of the adjoining sealing profile, and for an internal surface to be configured at least partially as a reflection surface which has a reflectivity which is increased with respect to the visible surface.
