Abstract: A filtration assembly for removing machined contamination from fluid flowing through machine circulation system is disclosed. The chamber receives fluid contaminated with machine contamination from the machine circulation system having. The chamber includes a continuous track disposed adjacent a bottom surface of the chamber for dragging the machined contamination from the tank and depositing the machined contamination into a primary collector. A modular fluid filter is interchangeably disposed inside the tank and includes filtration media for filtering machined contamination suspended in the fluid flowing through the machine circulation system. The chamber includes interchangeable components used in cooperation with the modular fluid filter for treating fluid flowing through the machine circulation system.
Abstract: A workpiece manufacturing facility includes a plurality of workstations capable of performing work on a workpiece to dimensionally advance a configuration of the workpiece. A plurality of assembly stations is capable of assembling components of the workpiece to the workpiece. A carrier is moveable between any of the work stations and between any of the assembly stations. The carrier transports at least one workpiece between at least one work station and at least one assembly station. The carrier includes a robotic manipulator capable of introducing the workpiece to the workstations and the assembly stations in a dimensionally accurate position and the robotic manipulator is capable of performing work on the workpiece.
Abstract: A manufacturing system including an apparatus in which a plurality differently configured workpieces requiring manufacturing operations are processed. The apparatus includes a work surface configured to receive apparatus components and a plurality of differently configured workpieces, a tool table adjacent the work surface providing support for tooling and apparatus components required to process various manufacturing operations on the workpieces, and a robotic manipulator positioned adjacent to the work surface and the tool table and having a gripping device configured to grip at least one of the apparatus components. Abstract: A system for machining workpieces (12) and separating the chips from the workpieces (12) includes a plurality of workstations (14) detachably interconnected by a housing (16) and arranged along a processing path (A). A coolant and filtration device (56) extends through the workstations (14) and is adaptable for separating the chips from the workpieces (12). A mist collection device (54) is cooperable with the workstations (14) and the coolant and filtration device (56) for removing mist generated by the workstations (14) while machining the workpieces (12). The workstations (14) are interconnected with the mist collection device (54) and the coolant and filtration device (56) to form a single machining module (10) of various dimensions and configurations to be adaptable for various manufacturing environments.
