Abstract: An system includes a fabric filter, an air supply system, a pulsing valve that is coupled to the air supply system and is configured to generate a statistical pulse of air that is directed to the fabric filter, an air flow monitor that is configured to monitor a flow of air associated with the statistical pulse of air, and a valve controller that is coupled to the air flow monitor that is configured to generate a performance signature for the pulsing valve based on the flow of air that was monitored.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a sampling probe having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is configured to penetrate inside a wall of a duct having an inner chamber that is configured to carry a gas stream containing particulate matter therethrough. The first portion is further configured to divert a sample of the gas stream from the inner chamber of the duet to the second portion that extends from the wall of the duct opposite the inner chamber. The second portion of the sampling probe is configured to direct the sample of the gas stream in a first direction with a second direction corresponding to a direction of the gravitational force of the earth. A first ray corresponding to the first direction forms an angle ? with a second ray corresponding to the second direction. The angle ? is less than 90 degrees.

Abstract: A system includes a device on a fabric filter having an attribute that is adjustable and a module on the fabric filter that is configured to adjust the attribute responsive to a control signal carried on a power line from which the module receives a power signal.
Abstract: A method of measuring impedance includes determining a first time constant based on a known impedance and a capacitor, determining a second time constant based on a target impedance and the capacitor, and determining the target impedance based on the first time constant and the second time constant.
