    Abstract: A concrete wall bearing component having one or more relatively large failure panel sections therein each defined by a thin weakness band and being of such size as to blow out of the panel along the weakness band when subjected to a blast, while leaving enough of the panel to support the load normally supported by the panel, and a wall formed of said bearing components. The invention differs from the prior art in making lighter panels not by increasing the strength and thus the weight.
