Abstract: In a housing enclosing a collector chamber for filtering air laden with dust or other contaminants, a filter element is mounted in line with a clean air opening into the chamber through the housing and is attached so that contaminated air coming into another housing opening into the chamber must pass through the filter media for removing the contaminants from the air. From time to time a stream of pressurized cleaning air is applied in the reverse direction through the first opening to drive contaminants off the filter media. A deflector or diffuser is located in line with the clean air opening to diffuse the applied stream of cleaning air so that it does not directly impinge the filter element.
Abstract: A housing containing a chamber having an inlet bore and an outlet bore with an elongated resilient annular seal having one end fixedly attached around the inlet bore and its other end facing the outlet bore resiliently sealed around the surface of a solid plug located in the chamber.
Abstract: An adjustable pneumatic conveyor tube booster valve for banding to the top of a conveyor tube with the booster valve inlet located remotely from the pneumatic conveyor tube. The booster valve is constructed from an annular rubber sleeve which flexes inwardly in response to high inlet pressure in the booster valve to permit flow of air into the conveyor tube but returns to its original shape when the pressure in the inlet drops to prevent back flow of material from the conveyor tube into the booster valve. An adjustable cap permits adjustment of gas flow into the booster tube.
Abstract: A rotor diverter valve operable for diverting materials in a pneumatic conveying line to secondary locations with the rotor diverter valve including a housing and pivotally mounted rotor having a pair of converging passages therein that can direct material from an inlet in the housing to one of a plurality of outlets on the housing through proper position of the rotor within the housing. The housing includes interchangeable inlet and outlet attachments that can be tightly sealed around the converging passages in the rotor.
Abstract: A pneumatic conveyor tube switch operable for diverting materials from a pneumatic conveying line to secondary locations with the rotating diverter valve including a band bearing and a pair of inflatable seals to permit rotation of a central tube and to confine the material within the pneumatic conveying lines of the conveying system.
Abstract: A dense phase pneumatic conveying system with pressurized air applied at the source to deliver granular material through a conveying line to a receiver with a shut-off valve having an air leakage path located in the conveying line operated by a sensing element to limit the rate of flow of the pressurized air at the end of the conveying cycle.
Abstract: A pneumatic conveyor tube weigh jet assembly comprising a pivotally suspended holding chamber, a load cell for determining the weight of material in the holding chamber and flexible connections which allow for the weigh jet assembly to be permanently connected into a pneumatic conveying system.
Abstract: A bin aerator for dislodging materials from the walls of a bin with the aerator comprising a deformable vibrating rubber housing having a circular discharge region for discharging air parallel to the walls of the bin.
