Abstract: A tire deflation device capable of being remotely operated to extend and retract a spike assembly into the path of a vehicle to controllably deflate one or more of its tires is described. An embodiment includes a self contained supply of pressurized air that is in communication with an actuator that operatively extends and retracts the spike assembly based on a signal received from a wireless remote control.
