Abstract: Integral crash-helmet for motorcyclists, sports-competitions and the like, transformable into a "Jet"-like open helmet, includes a frontally open rigid cap (1) and a rigid chin protector (3), removable and fastenable in seats (3a) provided in the two flanges (2-2a) protruding from the cap (1) base by the association of removable embedding and hand-operatable locks, provided correspondingly on the external faces of the flanges and on the internal faces of the chin protector. The removal of the chin protector (3) transforms the integral helmet, which complies with the stress-resistance requirements provided for integral helmets, into an open "Jet"-like helmet, and vice-versa.
Abstract: A crash helmet having a protective shell with a large front opening for visibility covered by a visor. A horizontal slot below the front opening defines a sliding and guide seat. A sliding element has a pin which is disposed within the slot for horizontally moving the sliding element. The sliding element has a restraining element which faces the element. The lower edge of the visor includes a step portion facing away from the helmet. The step portion is positively engaged by the restraining element in the lowered position. The sliding element is movable to release and raise the visor.
Abstract: Crash-helmet is provided with a sunshade visor front-piece, in which the front-piece is made of rigid material and is jut-fixed to connection side pins of the visor by using cogs. The cogs are partly deformable and so sized as to permit the prompt detachment of the front-piece from the helmet pins in case the user should fall or hit against obstacles.
