Abstract: The device is fitted to a flat knitting machine comprising a carriage moving in a horizontal plane above two needle beds and comprises a casing, fixed to the carriage and supporting a vertical rod, able to slide, to which two cores, lower and upper respectively, in a ferromagnetic material are fixed, while a spring acts on the rod with an upward force; a first coil acts on the lower core in such a way as to exert an upward force on the same lower core and a second coil acts on the upper core in such a way as to exert a downward force on the same upper core.A vertical anchor plate is fixed to the lower core and is able, depending on the position of the rod, to strike ledges of a slide mounted so that it couples with, and is able to slide along, a bar located above the needle beds.

Abstract: The device is fitted to a flat knitting machine that comprises a carriage moving in a horizontal plane above two needle beds and featuring anchor plates that are able to move in a vertical plane.The device comprises a series of slides coupled with a bar, located above the needle beds, and provided with thread guides, each slide featuring a track in which two facing ledges are formed that can be struck by one of the anchor plates, consequently causing the slide to be drawn along. Two rockers pivot upon the slide, each of the these comprising two arms first and second, which respectively work in conjunction with a related ledge and a related side of the slide.If the second arm is kept alongside the side, the anchor plate is prevented from striking against the ledge whilst when the same second arm is moved away from the side the anchor plate strikes against the ledge.

Abstract: A device consists of equidistant rods, located below the needle bed of a machine, perpendicular to the traverse direction of movement of a carriage, with the upper ends bent downwards to form a corresponding number of latch sections, and directed towards the upper heads of the needle beds.The rods are controlled by a cam on the carriage; raising of the rods causes the latch sections to be inserted between the stitches of the fabric in the last rows of the fabric portion situated below the working area of the sections: in this way the latch sections act as stops for the rows.Downstream from the working area of the needles, there is a fabric presser plate which presses the row just formed in a downwards direction and according to a preset pressure.

Abstract: A device is designed to operate two slides to which corresponding stitch regulation cams are bound, and it includes: a plate, mounted on the carriage and located below the slides, that is able to be moved by means in relation to the carriage in the direction in which this latter is itself moved, two tracks, symmetrical in relation to a vertical plane, formed in the upper part of the plate, each constituted by flat horizontal surface and by a flat surface that follows on and inwards from the former, turning downwards, elastic means which keep the extremities of the slides in contact with the corresponding tracks.Movement of the plate in one direction causes the slide which is downstream in respect of the direction of movement to be lowered in proportion to the amount by which the former is moved.

Abstract: A device made in a carriage of an automatic flat knitting machine, consists of a plurality of identical consecutive units 100, each of which is located between a plane of symmetry of two groups of movable cams and a plane of symmetry of two first fixed cams designed to select sinkers arranged in the bottom middle section of as many slots made in a needle beds; in each slot there is a needle above the sinker.Each unit is made up of fixed and movable cams which operate in combination with the groups of cams and the first fixed cams to make plain stitches, and carryover stitches and to transfer and receive a stitch to and from another needle bed.It is also possible to control the density of the fabric and carry out the "three-way technique" using a first row of needles which make the plain stitch, a second row of needles which make the carryover stitch and a third row of needles kept in rest position.

Abstract: A device for controlling the tension of the knitted fabric includes two parallel rows of rollers, which are supported by two plane surfaces mounting two needle beds upon which a carriage is able to move longitudinally and alternately.The rows of rollers are located beneath the needle beds with the rollers of the first row, able to turn in a single direction, being in contact with the corresponding rollers of the second row, thus creating a series of independent pairs of rollers between which the knitted fabric is inserted.Each pair of rollers is moved by a rod, mounted on the second plane surface, featuring a heel upon which moving cams act determining the consequent rotation of the corresponding pair of rollers, while fixed cams, acting upon the heels, return the rods to their initial position.
