The invention further relates to a USB distributor (500) having such a securing frame (400) and to a connector module (300) for use with such a securing frame (200, 400).

Abstract: The invention relates to an electronic device (10) for providing predetermined functions for a user (1) of the device, with a man-machine interface of the device for allowing function-related inputs by the user and function-related outputs from the device, a processor-controlled computer device for processing the inputs of the user and generating the outputs from the device, and coupling means for the electrical and/or mechanical connection of the device to a device support (14) associated with the device. To achieve simpler operation and a wider scope of application for such a device, provision is made according to the invention for the device to have means of detection for detecting the presence of a connection of the device (10) to the device support (14), and for the processor-controlled computer device to effect a modification of the man-machine interface (12) in the presence of the connection.

Abstract: The invention relates to a mobile computer system (10d), a method for operation and a use of such a computer system. The invention provides new functionalities and fields of application for mobile computer systems by taking into account to a large extent the conditions typical of vehicles in the design of the computer system (10d), including the design of interface devices. In one embodiment the computer system (10d) is accommodated in a casing which on account of its dimensions is suitable for building into a conventional car radio cavity of a vehicle (1d). Adapting to the vehicle conditions, further aspects of the invention relate to concepts for cooling of system components for compatibility with industrial standards, for protection of system components as well as other vehicle components from damage or destruction and for control of vehicle components.

Abstract: The present invention has for its object a device for assembling tools in a tool carrier by thermal expansion and preadjustment and measurement of the mounted assembly. The device is characterized in that it is essentially constituted by a support frame (1) provided with an interchangeable tool carrying socket (2), by at least one column (3) supporting a dimensional measuring arm (4) and an induction heater (5), by a console (6) for displaying measurements, by a control panel (7) and by a device (8) for precise adjustment of the outwardly extending length of the tool. The invention is more particularly applicable to the field of the environment of machine tools, in particular digitally controlled machines, machining centers, machines or line transfer, for high speed machining or for which high dimensional precision and concentricity are required.
