    Abstract: A hemostatic putty for treatment of a variety of wounds topographies, including but not limited to highly three dimensional wounds, for example gunshot wounds and impalements, is disclosed. The putty is comprised of a matrix polymer weakly crosslinked or not crosslinked such that a viscoelastic matrix is formed. The viscoelastic nature of the putty is tunable by the composition and enables the putty to conform to a variety of wound topographies. Likewise, a hemostatic polymer, for example chitosan or hydrophobically modified chitosan, is included in this matrix to impart hemostatic properties and tissue adhesive on the putty. The hemostatic polymers disclosed prevent microbial infection and are suitable for oxygen transfer required during normal wound metabolism.

    Abstract: A system provides power and data to solid-state lights or other stage effects devices. A power hub receives the data as an input signal and includes output ports each with data conductors and power conductor pairs. The hub includes a buffer circuit, a power distribution circuit, and sensor circuits. The buffer circuit distributes data to the output ports. The power distribution circuit receives an input voltage and distributes a calibrated output voltage and maximum current to each output port. The sensor circuits are connected to a respective output port and detect connection of devices and a maximum required power at each output port. The power distribution circuit individually increases voltage to each output port at a calibrated ramp rate based on the maximum required power. The interface circuit connects the data conductors and the power conductor pairs to the devices and passes the voltage/power and data thereto.

Accordingly, the subscriber sees the advertisements regardless of what channel or television program is being watched and sees them in the order dictated by the queue.
