    Abstract: A mounting system for an aircraft galley that quickly and easily secures an insert while preserving an air gap between the insert and a work deck upper surface for venting purposes. The platform includes a linkage that can transform from a “Y” shaped configuration to a “T” shaped configuration. When the linkage is in the “Y” shaped configuration, the outer extensions or locking pins do not extend to the side walls of the platform. However, once the insert is properly seated on the platform, the linkage can be transformed from the “Y” configuration to a “T” configuration such that the locking pins extend through the side walls of the platform and through holes in the side walls of the insert. In this manner, the insert can be secured to the platform without screws or other permanent fixtures.

    Abstract: This invention relates to polynucleotide sequences encoding SUT2 or SUT4 sucrose transporter genes. Methods for increasing seed oil content and evaluating increased oil content in a plant seed are described. The compositions and methods disclosed herein employ a variety of sequences that encode sucrose transporters and a variety of sequences that influence fatty acid accumulation, including for example, DGAT, Lec1 and ODP1 transcription factor. In specific embodiments, overexpression of SUT2 and/or SUT4 sucrose transporters in combination with DGAT genes further increase plant seed oil production compared to high oil plant comprising recombinant DNA constructs that do not overexpress SUT2 or SUT4 transporters.

    Abstract: A potable water supply and waste system for an aircraft galley is provided that includes a potable water distribution manifold in fluid communication with a potable water source. The potable water distribution manifold is configured to distribute water from the potable water source to a galley insert in a work deck of the aircraft galley. A galley insert drain line is connected to the galley insert for draining waste water from the galley insert into a sump. The sump, in turn, is connected to a main drain line for the potable water supply and waste system that is positioned below the work deck. A rotary, cruciform valve is connected in fluid communication with the potable water distribution manifold and the galley insert. The cruciform valve is selectively configured to allow the potable water source to supply or drain the entire system through the same manifold.
