Abstract: Various types of edge seals for protecting electro-optic displays against environmental contaminants are described. In one type of seal, the electro-optic layer is sandwiched between a backplane and a protective sheet and a sealing material extends between the backplane and the protective sheet. In other seals, the protective sheet is secured to the backplane or to a second protective sheet adjacent the backplane. The electro-optic layer can also be sealed between two layers of adhesive or between one layer of adhesive and the backplane. Other seals make use of flexible tapes extending around the periphery of the display.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing an array substrate. The method includes forming a source electrode and a drain electrode on a substrate. A semiconductor layer, an organic insulating layer, and a gate electrode layer are sequentially formed to cover the substrate, the source electrode, and the drain electrode. A patterned photoresist layer is formed on the gate electrode layer. The exposed portion of the gate electrode layer, and a portion of the organic insulative layer and a portion of the semiconductor layer thereunder are removed to form a gate electrode. An organic passivation layer is formed on the gate electrode, the source electrode, and the drain electrode. The organic passivation layer has a contact window to expose a portion of the drain electrode. A pixel electrode is formed on the organic passivation layer and the exposed portion of the drain electrode.

Abstract: Compositions comprising fluoroelastomers having copolymerized units of a cyano-containing cure site monomer are cured (i.e. crosslinked) with a fluoropolymer having pendant sulfonyl azide groups. The latter fluoropolymer comprises copolymerized units of a fluoroalkanesulfonyl azide of formula CF2?CF—(O)p—Rf—(CH2)n—SO2N3, wherein p=0 or 1; n=0-4; and Rf is a C1-C16 perfluoroalkyl or perfluoroalkoxy group. The crosslinks are tetrazole rings formed by the reaction of the pendant sulfonyl azide groups on the fluoropolymer with pendant cyano groups on the fluoroelastomer.

Abstract: The various embodiments described herein include systems, methods and/or devices used to produce a rectified and regulated output signal. In one aspect, the method includes, at a circuit, comparing an output signal at an output node with an input signal at an input node, wherein the output signal is a rectified and regulated signal, and the input signal is an unrectified and unregulated signal, and computing a difference between a reference signal and a comparison signal. Power transfer from the input node to the output node is prevented when the output signal is greater than the input signal. Furthermore, power transfer from the input node to the output node is regulated to produce the rectified and regulated output signal when both the input signal is greater than the output signal, and when the magnitude of the reference signal exceeds the magnitude of the comparison signal.

Abstract: The present invention refers to a system of prosthetic components consisting of Compensatory Slanted Copings and Abutments of Universal Coupling that function as a set of coupled parts that allow corrections of slants that vary between OQ and 60Q, of fixing osseointeg rated implants, including zygomatic fixations, and it provides a cap, molding transferer and screws for fastening and locking. This system of copings and abutments provides properties of conversion and extension of the implants. Its shape provides better occlusal stability and favorable biomechanics, since the forces are better distributed, diminishing the concentration of tension on the fitting platform of the implant, as well as the screws. The abutments of the universal coupling can be readjusted and be cemented or screwed. In the present system, the superior platform of the coping and the inferior base of the abutment are universalized, since the inferior platform of the coping corrects the slant of the implant.

Abstract: Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention allow users to efficiently manipulate, analyze, and transmit eXtensible Business Reporting Language (“XBRL”) reports. They allow users to automatically build financial reports that are acceptable to governing agencies such as the IRS. In one embodiment, the reports are developed by a parser that transforms text documents into software elements containing a format with a hierarchal relationship between the software elements, and an editor that develops reports by referencing the software elements transformed from the text documents. Methods and systems in accordance with the present invention also enable reports to be automatically scheduled by gathering desired information from an accounting system, formatting the information into an XBRL document, and transmitting it to an end source.
