Abstract: A furniture unit for a vehicle includes a seat having a side that is joined permanently to a couch. The general direction of the couch is angled, forwards of the seat, with respect to the direction in which the seat faces. A squab of the seat and a squab of the couch are located at the same level, in such a way as to form a surface suitable for use as a bed.
Abstract: An internal arrangement of aircraft fuselage walls supports two longitudinal auxiliary passage ducts at the upper part of the fuselage and on each side of its longitudinal plane of symmetry. The arrangement includes a longitudinal central element forming a dome connecting the structural ducts, an interior ceiling panel situated under the dome and facing toward the cabin, and two lateral cover panels. A lower edge of each lateral panel is articulated with respect to the fuselage so that it may occupy a raised position in which it is connected to a respective one of the structural ducts near an upper edge of the structural duct and a lowered position in which it is distant from the structural duct. Also, the upper edge of each lateral panel is extended, in the raised position, beyond the structural duct to cover the corresponding longitudinal edges of the dome and the ceiling panel.

Abstract: A convertible seat, e.g., for an aircraft, including a fixed structure and a mobile structure, including a seat bottom, a seat back, a leg rest and, optionally, a leg rest extension. The different elements of the mobile structure are mechanically connected to each other, and to the fixed structure, to automatically move the mobile structure between a first extreme seat type posture and a second extreme bed type posture, passing through given ergonomically comfortable intermediate postures, using a single control. This control may be a manual control or a motorized control.
