Patents Assigned to Eagle Eye Networks
  • Patent number: 11381605
Abstract: A private video surveillance service shares an image stream through an asset lock with government agencies in the event of emergency. Nominated agencies establish access credentials at the surveillance service data center. A camera is shared by a facility administrator's selection of permissions on each camera via privileged web-browser or mobile device. Permissions enable selection by static meta data such as type, audio, location, motion, recognition, PTZR, spectrum, and epoch. Video streams of present and past epochs are controlled by ranges of time. A government agency receives an electronic notification from the administrator to operate an agency dedicated application programming interface. A notification may be customized for each responding agency and each event by dynamically generating a link to a secure webserver which records geo-location or network identifiers for validation. Video servers remain controlled by the facility administrator.

  • Patent number: 11183035
Abstract: A system enables a scheduled visitor to receive an optical credential in paper or electronic form, and a range of date-time validity for a video doorbell which may actuate a portal. Upon activation the video doorbell hashes the optical credential with the date-time of the actual access request, masked to a range of most significant bits to create a plurality of digital bit-keys. The bit-keys generated exclusively at that video doorbell at that time would be verified with a stored digital bit-lock which is a complementary transformation of the valid date-time range hashed with the original optical credential at a visitor filtration server. Overwriting a stored digital bit-lock in a video doorbell at any time effectively cancels access by that optical credential. An emergency access key phrase communicatively couples the video doorbell with a visitee interview panel overriding access policies. Installation of custom software on the visitor's terminal is unnecessary.

  • Patent number: 11115627
Abstract: A system provides a transformed video stream from, a publicly or privately owned and operated camera bearing on an in-scope location vicinity, to, a responding emergency service agency (ESA). A request from an emergency services agent's display terminal includes location indicia and elicits a map of cameras bearing on the location vicinity as well as other display terminals in the area. Upon request, an application programming interface enables a video stream to comply with the privacy and access settings of the camera owner/operators. A plurality of private and public security surveillance cameras is coupled to a server. Exterior/street view video images are streamed to the server which may contact an owner for emergency access. An emergency agency vehicle at a location has a display for a selected gallery of obfuscated exterior/street views from cooperative networks of public and private security cameras bearing on the vicinity of an incident.

  • Patent number: 11019310
Abstract: Private video streams are provided to emergency services agents' devices by authenticating UDP packets at an access control server and initiating an Application Programming Interface at a video server. The access control server conditionally responds to a UDP query from a mobile device with an answer containing an address of an API. Settings provided by a facility/video stream owner validate the query, and synthesize a one-time IPv6 address. A virtual machine image of an API couples cameras to mobile devices. Video images are transformed into a pastiche with 2D facility maps or 3D models. The device transforms an optical image e.g. a QRcode into a packet for transmission as a query. The packet contains authentication credentials and identity indicia of sender and desired video image access. The device receives a reply containing the address of the API and displays resulting video.

  • Patent number: 10848808
Abstract: A video surveillance service shares image streams with public service agencies in the event of emergency. Nominated agencies establish access credentials at the surveillance service data center. A video stream is shared by a customer administrator's selection of permissions on each camera via privileged web-browser. Permissions enable selection by static meta data such as type, audio, location, motion, and epoch. Video streams of present and past epochs are controlled by time. A public service agency receives an electronic notification from the administrator to present their access credential and a handle for each shared camera of interest. A notification is customized for each public service agency and each event by dynamically generating a link to a secure webserver which records geo-location or network identifiers for validation. Video servers may include virtual machines dedicated to each public service agency but controlled by a customer administrator.

  • Patent number: 10796163
Abstract: An apparatus provides a quick view of security events by transformation of surveillance video streams stored over many hours. Images captured at one or more video surveillance cameras are transformed into a summary of activities by triggering on contents within the views. Selected key images are bookended by anticipatory or consequential frames for better comprehension. Variable masking scopes the date-times of interest to a display user. A frame selection process is triggered by video encoding and compression indicia to eliminate duplication and inactivity. Hours of H.264 encoded video are reduced to seconds of surveillance animation. Motion indicia in video frames and pixel blocks steer the short summary. Timespans and camera views of inactivity are purged from the summary. To meet time management budgets, the report is transmitted to a display/selection apparatus as a mix of still images and video activity glimpses.

  • Patent number: 10795773
Abstract: A camera reboots when a first timer expires but defers when a connection enables a server to reset the first timer. The system uses a visitor filtration apparatus to encode and store time-windows for expected visitors and generate optical credentials as visitor indicia and policies to greet, transform messages, and determine various access to visitors, both expected or unexpected. A video doorbell component of the system triggers on image or audio capture, transforms and verifies optically encoded credentials and actuates a physical access control actuator, triggers a visitor filtration apparatus, or relays images and audio with an interview panel. The optical credential is transmitted electronically to an expected visitor and may be printed or displayed from an electronic media.

  • Patent number: 10798342
Abstract: A high definition surveillance video storage optimization system executes purging directives according to policy and retention meta data. Segments of video are purged from storage when thresholds of retention metrics are applied and when policy permits. Retention metrics are determined from acoustic sound energy, radiation energy, access control events, and movement. Policies reflect calendars and elapsed time, percentage of available storage, statutory and judicial mandates, and utility of the stored segments. Extrinsic sensor data and operations are recorded into non-transitory retention meta data stores. Metrics are transformed into retention flags at either time of recordation or time of purgation. Security file storage includes metadata about the environment acquired by sensors include doors, audio noise, object identification and tracking and inputs which influence retention or purging. A circuit filters for motion and stores metadata per segment.

  • Patent number: 10607462
Abstract: A camera-based security system protects an asset by detecting an aerial surveillor and consequently storing notifications into a video archive, alerting to an operator console, and actuating privation apparatus. One or more cameras provides video streams to a processor which derives object motion. Attributes of object motion trigger notification to record and alert on conditions associated with an aerial surveillor. Tracking of pixels, pixel blocks, and motion vectors enable rules based determination of an airborne surveillance vehicle according to characteristic hovering or lingering by masking LSB of accumulated positive and negative movements. Actuators cause privation enhancement apparatus to obfuscate the protected asset (structure, area, or volume) or to interpose between the protected asset and the surveillor. The method traces a travel path of an object; and determines a ray from a private property to a surveillor drone.

  • Patent number: 10284880
Abstract: A lossy compression method optimizes bandwidth and storage for a security surveillance network. An appliance on a local network attached to event capture terminals transforms image files into a key frame and at least one subsequent frame. Decompression combines a subsequent frame with its key frame to provide an image with graduated resolution/noise clutter. A camera records, and forwards a plurality of image files compatible with JPEG encoding. Key frames are selected from among the plurality of image files. A configurable low pass filter is reset for each train of a key frame and its subsequent frame or frames. Each low pass filter is selectively applied to each pixel block within a subsequent frame. The transformation operates on coefficients of frequency bins. Meta data enables decompression of a single subsequent frame by reversing some of the transformations to provide a JPEG compatible file having selectively reduced resolution or noise clutter.
