Patent number: 8205592Abstract: An engine cover and method of making the same with a textured surface with an in-mold coating. A noise abatement cover for top of an engine has a textured, in-mold coated, high quality outer appearance with a core of medium density polyurethane. The method of making the cover includes applying a mold release to grained aluminum tool and applying coating to at least one side of the grained aluminum tool to form an in-mold coating on the resulting engine cover, which is preferably a single piece.Type: GrantFiled: December 23, 2009Date of Patent: June 26, 2012Assignee: Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventors: Keith Byer, Mark Arthurs, John Bull

Patent number: 7246792Abstract: An ornamental fence insert for a picket fence. The picket fence is of the type having two upper rails and a plurality of pickets extending through the rails to define spaces therebetween. The ornamental fence insert, having diametrically opposed projecting brackets, with each bracket having a pair of opposed sidewalls is adapted for installation in one of the spaces by straddling and engaging the pickets or the rails without the aid of welding or riveting.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 2004Date of Patent: July 24, 2007Assignee: Iron Eagle Industries Inc.Inventors: Nicola Leone, Joseph Isopo

Patent number: 5961242Abstract: A novel bracket assembly for slidably mounting beams such as rails upon a column such as posts and for interconnecting abutting beams is disclosed for forming a continuous support frame for fencing and fence-like systems. The bracket assembly comprises identical first and second bracket components each having a pair of opposed, spaced-apart side walls joined by a web defining a collar for slidably engaging the post therebetween, opposed sleeve side walls defining a split sleeve for receiving an end of a beam therein, each collar having a recess extending from the center-line of the sleeve, and clamping and securing the sleeve side walls and collar side walls towards each other to secure the beam to the bracket and to clamp the bracket to the rail, whereby inversion of the second bracket component relative to the first bracket component on a column will nest the recesses of the bracket components together and align the sleeves at about the same height on a column.Type: GrantFiled: November 28, 1997Date of Patent: October 5, 1999Assignee: Iron Eagle Industries Inc.Inventor: Nicola Leone

Patent number: 4815818Abstract: A reflector is provided which includes a resilient member formed of elastomeric material having embedded in at least a portion thereof a plurality of retro-reflective glass beads. At least a portion of the outer surface of the elastomeric material is removed to expose at least a portion of the glass beads thereat. The resilient member can be formed either with or without a base member. The base member can be formed either integrally or non-integrally with the resilient member to serve as a support body for the resilient member. When formed with a base member, at least the distal end of the resilient member has a surface portion of the elastomeric material forming the resilient member removed to expose at least a portion of the glass beads thereat.Type: GrantFiled: January 27, 1986Date of Patent: March 28, 1989Assignee: Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert J. Patent number: 4644603Abstract: A snake which can be power driven through a clutch or manually rotated with a crank. The coiled wire body terminates in a nose cylinder which has coils which are of a larger diameter, constant diameter, and expanded terminating in a cylinder snag tip cut-off co-extensive with the circumference of the expanded cylinder wire portions. A cap is provided over the sheath which surrounds the coiled wire at each end of the sheath, and having progressively smaller interior collar members terminating in a cap lip which permits the cap to snug-fittingly and progressively engage the end of the sheath, and yet permit it to be removed after usage so that the interior of the sheath can be flushed and when desired, filled with lubricating oil or another preservative. The method of the invention is directed to the utilization of a coiling head which coils the wire in a small diameter and then increases the diameter to form the nose cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: April 2, 1985Date of Patent: February 24, 1987Assignee: Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventor: Fred J. Meyer

Patent number: 4573763Abstract: A reflector is disclosed as comprising a base member of elastomeric material forming a support body for said marker, and a plurality of individual resilient members of elastomeric material integrally formed with said base member and projecting therefrom, each of said resilient members having embedded therein and throughout a plurality of reflective glass beads. At least the distal ends of the resilient members have a surface portion of the elastomeric material removed to expose a portion of the glass beads thereat.Type: GrantFiled: December 18, 1984Date of Patent: March 4, 1986Assignee: Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventor: Robert J. Patent number: 4378856Abstract: An arrangement including a passageway connection of the type for use in interconnecting the interior of a vehicle driver's cab and the interior of a sleeper unit mounted behind the cab comprising an outer accordian seal and an inner boot member. The outer accordian seal is mounted surrounding an external side of openings in the front and rear walls respectively, of a sleeper unit and driver's cab so as to provide a detachable water tight seal, while the inner boot member provides sound and temperature insulation as well as an attractive smooth appearance, and also coacting with a detachable end of the outer accordian seal so as to retain same in its assembled condition. The outer accordian seal also acts to protect the inner boot member which might otherwise be destroyed by exposure to the environment, truck washing equipment, and the like.Type: GrantFiled: February 24, 1981Date of Patent: April 5, 1983Assignee: Double Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventor: Ray S. Patent number: 4183709Abstract: A wrecker assembly is combined with a pick up truck or cab and chassis having a frame, a rear axle, a cab and/or a floor, side walls, and a battery. The wrecker assembly comprises a sub-frame assembly mounted upon the floor or frame and is secured to the frame. The boom including a pair of forwardly diverging side plate ends is pivotally mounted upon the sub-frame adjacent the cab. A tower mounting plate spans the boom side plates and projects thereabove. A hydraulic power cylinder including a reciprocal piston rod is pivotally mounted upon the sub-frame assembly with the end of the piston rod pivotally connected to the tower plate at its upper end. A power pack including a motor, pump, valve and a fluid reservoir is mounted upon the boom and a pair of flexible conduits respectively interconnect the pump valve and opposite ends of the cylinder.Type: GrantFiled: November 21, 1977Date of Patent: January 15, 1980Assignee: Eagle Industries, Inc.Inventor: Dennis W.
