    Abstract: A hazardous material spill skid for use with one or two barrels has a tray with upwardly and outwardly extending side walls and end walls and a bottom wall with an upwardly extending hollow support post. The side and end walls have horizontal flanges with an upper surface coplanar with the upper surface of the support post, and an upwardly extending rim. Preferably, a side wall locking lip is provided on one of the side walls and an end wall locking lip on each end wall to secure a grate to the tray. The grate is preferably a blow molded unit having hollow parallel bars and cross-bars contained within a hollow frame.

    Abstract: A hazardous material spill skid has a tray and a pair of interchangeable grate members for support of industrial drums. The tray has a bottom and upwardly and outwardly extending walls that terminate as horizontal flanges with an outer rim and inward lips. A hollow center post is provided with four arms, one of which extends towards each corner of the tray. A pair of blow molded, hollow, interchangeable grate members rest on the horizontal flanges of the side and end walls of the tray and directly on two of the arms of the center post to provided support for the grate member and drums placed thereon.

    Abstract: An over-pack container for an industrial drum has a body portion with an outwardly extending flange thereon that has a flat outer surface of a polygonal shape and an inwardly extending upper lip that terminates as a downwardly depending leg with threads on the inner surface thereof. A hollow lid has a circular member with threads on the outer wall which engage with the threads of the leg of the body portions, and an outwardly extending portion having a lower sealing surface that engages the lip of the body portion, with upwardly spaced projections about the periphery of the lid.

    Abstract: A plastic waste can for collection of flammable waste has a self-closing cover disposed on a body portion or receptacle. A foot pedal situated in a channel formed in the bottom wall of the body portion and pivotally secured therein is depressed by a user to raise a lift bar which engages the cover to raise the cover. A cover lift accelerator is provided on the undersurface of the cover, with a hinge pin hingedly connecting the cover to the body portion through first and second hinge pin supports. The cover is arranged to open to no more than 70.degree. to the horizontal so as to assure that the cover will close, by gravity, upon release of the foot pedal by a user.

The nozzle portion is hollow and elongated, has a generally circular cross-section, and is defined by an inlet, and elongated section and an outlet. The elongated section is defined by a sidewall, a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a passageway therethrough from the first end to the second end, and has at least one flexible, corrugated portion that includes a plurality of corrugations.

    Abstract: On a safety can for the storage and dispensing of liquid fuel and other volatile liquids from which the contents usually are dispensed at more or less frequent intervals, the pouring spout of the can has a cover which is at a free end of a lever which is spring biased to normally keep the cover tightly closed. The can has a fixed lifting handle in the form of a flat arch in a central area of the top of the can with the top of the arch providing a hand grip removed from the spout and its cover, a secondary handle extending above the lever on which the cover is secured and pivotally secured through an upwardly offset connection to the lever toward the free end of the biased lever terminates in a hand grip parallel with but spaced radially from the hand grip formed by the flat arch.

The body of the funnel is of a generally frusto-conical configuration and is formed integrally with the collar portion, the axis of the body portion extending laterally of the axis of the collar portion.
