Abstract: Systems and methods for a partial state condenser are described. In one embodiment, the partial state condenser receives a working fluid, and includes a sense reservoir that holds the working fluid, a reservoir sensor that senses an electrical property of the working fluid, and a reservoir valve that is in fluid communication with the sense reservoir. The partial state condenser yet further includes a processor configured to execute instructions to determine a specific energy of the working fluid based on the electrical property of the working fluid. The processor is also configured to execute instructions to control the reservoir valve to regulate a flow of a portion of the working fluid from the sense reservoir based on the specific energy of the working fluid to maintain a two-phase saturation state associated with a saturation point within the partial state condenser based on the electrical property.

Abstract: A biodegradable, disposable absorbent article, such as a diaper, having a non-woven inner layer of natural fibers and a non-woven outer layer of natural fibers and a treatment applied to at least one surface thereof. The fin sheet piles first include a brace fin sheet for reducing stresses in the front face wall, then a series of additional resistance fin sheets terminating at an elevation below the face wall for accommodating a pipe drainage/utility cradle. Between the slope of the existing embankment, a temporary excavation bench, an excavation backslope, and the higher front face wall is reinforced concrete backfill for pre-stressing the wall system when fluid—and, when set, optionally engaging supplementary structural features within the set concrete backfill such as dowels/tie down anchors.
