Abstract: Plastic cards constructed from a material comprising recycled scrap material. The recycled scrap material may be provided from a variety of sources including plastic cards constructed from virgin polymeric material, plastic cards comprising recycled scrap material, and scrap polymeric material generated during processing of virgin polymeric material and/or recycled scrap polymeric material, and combinations thereof. A method for forming plastic cards comprising recycled scrap material comprises recovering scrap polymeric material, regrinding the scrap polymeric material to provide recycled scrap particles, forming a plastic sheet from the recycled scrap particles, and forming plastic cards from the sheet.
