    Abstract: An exemplary embodiment includes a system to determine which wells provide input volumes to gas processing plants using a mixed-integer programming (MIP) model. The system uses a balanced approach to model all plants and wells within a basin simultaneously. The model utilizes multiple publically available data sources including well production data, plant inlet data, and GIS data. The full implementation provides at minimum a tenfold time improvement over the previously used manual techniques while increasing overall model quality.
