Abstract: A method for remotely verifying a non-resident alien's identity, includes: receiving a request to establish a communication session from a user device; analyzing the request to determine whether the user device is compromised; in response to determining that the user device is not compromised, providing a page flow to the user device to solicit information from the non-resident alien, the information including identity information associated with a local foreign government identification document (ID), and other information not shown on the local foreign government ID; querying one or more foreign governmental data stores to identify foreign data associated with the non-resident alien based on a unique identifier associated with the local foreign government ID; comparing the information with the foreign data; and verifying an identity of the non-resident alien based on the comparing, wherein the verifying includes determining that at least one of the other information matches the foreign data.

Abstract: System enhancement(s) are disclosed that can add capabilities, such as, using Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) and/or Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) and/or Frequency Division Duplex (FDD) capabilities along with Multi-Input Multi-Output (MIMO) antennas and/or Global Positioning System (GPS) synchronization. The use of two radios in both the base-station and the subscriber-station, i.e., customer premises equipment (CPE), e.g., can allow frequency division to be utilized, exploiting higher receive gains at the CPE while not affecting transmissions occurring on the other radio's frequency.

Abstract: An image processing method for removing a moving object includes an input step of inputting input images; a matching step of matching the input images according to corresponding positions; a determining step of determining a background image from the input images; a marking step of marking at least one moving object from at least one of the input images; and a replacing step of replacing a region, occupied by the moving object in at least one of the input images with a corresponding regional background in another input image.
