Patents Assigned to Eastman Kodak Corporation
  • Patent number: 7183010
Abstract: An organic light-emitting device includes a substrate, an anode and a cathode disposed over the substrate, and a luminescent layer disposed between the anode and the cathode wherein the luminescent layer includes a host and at least one dopant. The host of the luminescent layer is selected to include a solid organic material comprising a mixture of at least two components, one of which is capable of forming both monomer state and an aggregate state.

  • Patent number: 6113857
Abstract: A time and temperature integrating device for providing a visually observable indication of cumulative thermal exposure is disclosed comprising (a) at least two thermally sensitive image-forming areas of differing thermal sensitivity, and (b) indicating indicia in association with the thermally sensitive areas for indicating when each thermally sensitive area of the device has been exposed to predetermined cumulative thermal exposures. Such cumulative time-temperature exposure indicators may advantageously monitor and provide an ongoing record of thermal exposure prior to reaching a state of complete degradation, or other monitored property change, in an associated product.

  • Patent number: 5234805
Abstract: Pyrazolotriazole couplers having a ballast-containing group of the formula (I) attached to the pyrazolotriazole ring group ##STR1## wherein: R, R.sup.2, R.sup.a and R.sup.b represent hydrogen or a substituent;L is a divalent linking group connecting the ballast containing group to the pyrazolotriazole ring;L' is a linking group connecting the --BD group to the phenylene ring;n is 0 or 1;B represents --N(R.sup.c)--SO.sub.2 --, wherein R.sup.c represents hydrogen or a substituent; andD represents substituted or unsubstituted alkyl are useful in silver halide photographic materials and processes. The couplers exhibit increased coupling efficiency, and provide formation of dyes having improved maximum magenta image dye density when employed in color photographic materials and processes.

  • Patent number: 4792112
Abstract: A readily adjustable mold is provided for transforming a heated plastic sheet into an adapter intended to restrain a received article from moving inside a container larger than the article. The adapter to be formed has a base configured to fit snugly within the container and a plurality of projections on the base that are spaced from each other to receive the article snugly therebetween. The mold comprises means including side and bottom walls that define a cavity with peripheral and medial regions, for operatively positioning the plastic sheet for formation of the adapter, and means disposed in the cavity peripheral region and moveable toward and away from the cavity medial region, for selectively locating the projections on the adapter base. The locating means in the peripheral region may include one or more projection-forming member(s) slideably mounted on each of at least two of the side walls for selective movement toward and away from the medial region.
