Abstract: Described herein are techniques and mechanisms for determining a performance estimate. Clinic data may be retrieved from a clinic data storage system, and then stored on a clinic information database. A subset of the clinics corresponding with a designated clinic may be identified, where each of the subset of the clinics is associated with practice data substantially similar to designated practice data associated with the designated clinic. A performance estimate may be determined for the designated clinic the clinic data analytics engine via a clinic data analytics engine by comparing a designated performance characteristic associated with the designated clinic with respective performance characteristic infonnation associated with the subset of the clinics.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques and mechanisms for medical practice data analytics. According to various embodiments, a system may include a clinic information database, a clinic data cluster engine, and a clinic data analytics engine. The clinic information database may store clinic data characterizing each of a plurality of medical practice clinics. The clinic data cluster engine may determine a respective plurality of clinic clusters based on the clinic information for each of a plurality of clustering mechanisms. The clinic data analytics engine may evaluate the performance of each of the plurality of clustering mechanisms to produce a respective performance evaluation by determining a respective predicted outcome variable for each of the respective clustering mechanisms and each of the respective clinic clusters and comparing each of the respective predicted outcome variable with a respective observed outcome variable.

Abstract: A multiple zone and global-based architecture able to address security and privacy concerns and requirements that arise when managing patient data, communicating with patients, and engagement with patients is described. A primary motivation for the various embodiments centers around the security, privacy, and protection of health and healthcare-related data that can be linked or identifiable with a specific patient. Governments agencies at different levels in a growing number of countries are proposing guidelines and enacting regulations and laws that specifically address security, protection, and privacy of health data relating to individuals. The zone-based system of the present invention facilitates abiding by the myriad data privacy regulations and allows for customizing rules to meet regional standards as they change.

Abstract: Described herein are techniques and mechanisms for facilitating communications with patients of a medical practice. Patients of a medical practice may be grouped into clusters based on similar characteristics as represented in data associated with those patients. For example, patients may be clustered based on demographic data, stated communications preference data, observational data about patient behavior, clinic data characterizing a medical practice visited by the patient, and/or other such information. A default communications pattern may be determined for each cluster. The default communications pattern may include information related to communications content, channel, ordering, frequency, timing, and/or other such information for communicating with patients in the cluster. Messages may then be scheduled with patients in a cluster in accordance with the default communications pattern.
