The arm may include a first portion being fixed in relation to the harness and a second portion for supporting of the string. The string may include a first portion and a second portion, the first portion of the string being arranged for fastening of an optical instrument. The device may include an adjustable counter force device, and the second portion of the string may be attached to the adjustable counter force device for providing a counter force on the string. The adjustable counter force device may include a spring, a lever arm, and a support. The counter force exerted by the counter force device on the string may be adjustable.
