Abstract: Techniques for resource allocation with content creators are described that overcome the challenges of conventional techniques by supporting customized digital content generation and resource allocation specified by content creators of digital content. In one example, a content provider system, based on user input received via a control, specifies the portions of a resource allocation to be shared. A first portion is configured to be shared with a content creator of digital content, the digital content including service access data configured to access a digital service. A second portion is also configured to be shared with a client device that utilizes the service access data to access the digital service. Digital content is generated based on the specified portions and is transmitted. Upon access by the client device to the digital service, an indication of receipt of the first portion of the resource allocation is displayed by the content provider system.

Abstract: Systems and methods for an e-commerce enabled digital whiteboard are described. The system receives first initialization information, over a network, from a mobile device that includes a description of a first vehicle and a description of a first repair for the first vehicle. The first initialization information is stored in a first context. The system further receives a first request to attach the first context to an online collaborative workspace. The system further attaches the first context to an online collaborative marker that is associated with the online collaborative workspace. The system further generates a first interface based on the first context. The first interface includes the online collaborative interactive workspace including a first repair schematic including instructions for the first repair for the first vehicle. The system further receives a second request, over the network, from the mobile device that is also processed based on the first context.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer program products for identifying a candidate product in an electronic marketplace based on a visual comparison between candidate product image visual content and input query image visual content. Embodiments generate and store descriptive image signatures from candidate product images or selected portions of such images. A subsequently calculated visual similarity measure serves as a visual search result score for the candidate product in comparison to an input query image. Any number of images of any number of candidate products may be analyzed, such as for items available for sale in an online marketplace. Image analysis results are stored in a database and made available for subsequent automated on-demand visual comparisons to an input query image. The embodiments enable substantially real time visual based product searching of a potentially vast catalog of items.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure include a navigation system and computer-implemented methods for proactively re-routing vehicles based on an analysis of input component data obtained from the navigation-enabled devices. The navigation system scores the input component data to obtain a measure of frustration (e.g., a feeling of being upset or annoyed) of the user of the navigation-enabled device. The navigation system may provide a detour suggestion for display on the navigation-enabled device to persuade the user of the device to direct their vehicle to depart from its current location or route in an effort to remove the vehicle from traffic, and thereby reduce the frustration level of the user. The detour suggestion may include an alternative route to the original destination, or an alternative destination.

Abstract: Technologies are shown for network attribution tracking for a multi-legged transaction that involve receiving a tracking token registration request from a partner service, generating a tracking token associated with the partner service, adding an entry to an attribution stack for a transaction, where the entry associates the tracking token with the partner service, and returning the tracking token to the partner service. Receiving a tracking token request can include determining whether the tracking token request includes a previously generated tracking token and using the previously generated tracking token to identify the attribution stack for the transaction. Adding an entry to an attribution stack for a transaction can include adding the entry to the attribution stack identified for the transaction. Attribution for a transaction can be obtained by accumulating attribution entities from each entry in the attribution stack identified for the transaction.

Abstract: Technologies are described for generating visualizations that graphically represent an item being exposed to extreme environmental conditions while en route to a destination. An exemplary visualization may include a still graphic that shows a symbol of a detected environmental condition positioned adjacent to and/or superimposed over a graphic that represents the item. Another exemplary visualization may include an animation that includes a sequence of frames that, when sequentially displayed at a particular frame rate, animate the item being subjected to the detected environmental condition. Various implementations include receiving measurements of the environmental conditions that the item is exposed to from sensors that are proximate to the item while it is en route to the destination. Then, when thresholds are reached for specific environmental conditions (e.g., temperature, acceleration, etc.

Abstract: Techniques are described, as implemented by computing devices, to control access to transactions through use of tokenized reputation scores. This is performed by leveraging a blockchain such that a tokenized reputation score is generated or calculated based on an amount of reputation tokens associated with a blockchain account address associated with a service provider account, and by making transactional functionality available to the service provider account based on a comparison of a tokenized reputation score affiliated with the service provider account with a threshold score associated with a transaction.

Abstract: Example methods and systems are related to presenting a video at a display area of a user interface. A first screen capture of the video at a first time interval is captured and a second screen capture of the video at a second time interval is captured. A first image search using the first screen capture of the video is performed and a second image search using the second screen capture of the video is performed. A grid of search results for the video is presented. The grid comprises a first search result from the first image search and a second search result from the second image search. Search results of the grid are periodically added to the grid as the video is being presented at the display area.

Abstract: In accordance with one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, systems and methods for publishing and/or sharing media presentations over a network comprise communicating with a user and one or more distribution channels via the network, gathering media resources based on user input, creating a media presentation with the media resources based on user input, and publishing the media presentation by distributing the media presentation to the one or more distribution channels via the network. In one aspect, publishing comprises directly emailing the media presentation to one or more other users via the network. In another aspect, publishing comprises providing a link to one or more other users via the network for direct access to the media presentation. In still another aspect, publishing comprises obtaining and embedding source code for the media presentation in a web page associated with one or more of the distribution channels via the network.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a method comprises receiving, via a mobile station, contextual information or geographic location data relating to a plurality of members of the population within the geographic region, identifying a common element in the received contextual information relating to at least two members of the population as a basis for defining a geofence to include the at least two members, wherein the common element is identified upon a comparison of the first and second contextual information, and defining the boundary of the geofence.

Abstract: A videoconference system is described that generates a video for a room including multiple videoconference participants and outputs the video as part of the videoconference. The videoconference system is configured to generate the video as including a detailed view of one of the multiple videoconference participants located in the room. To do so, the videoconference system detects user devices located in the room capable of capturing video and determines a position of each user device. The videoconference system then detects a user speaking in the room and determines a position of the active speaker. At least one of the user devices is identified as including a camera oriented for capturing the active speaker. Video content captured by one or more user devices is then processed by the videoconference system to generate a detailed view of the active speaker.

Abstract: Methods and systems for improved categorization of queries are disclosed. In one aspect, a search query is received and determined to match a pattern having an uncategorized variable placeholder portion. In response to determining the search query matches the pattern, the pattern is used to identify a first portion of the search query based on the first portion of the search query corresponding to the uncategorized variable placeholder portion of the pattern. The search query is categorized by assigning, to the search query, a category associated with the first portion of the search query. Search results are generated for the search query using the category associated with the first portion of the search query.

Abstract: Methods and systems to build containers of uncategorized items are described. In some example embodiments, the methods and systems collect information from titles of items available for purchase within a network-based publication system, generate a title for a container of uncategorized items available for purchase within the network-based publication system that is based on the collected information, and associate two or more uncategorized items available for purchase within the network-based publication system to the container based on a comparison of titles of the two or more uncategorized items and the generated title for the container of uncategorized items.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer storage media are provided for providing an application programming interface (“API”) for executing a query are provided. The API call, scheduling, and assignment processing engines may generate and schedule assignments, along with associated dataset portions, based on the query. Based on the assignments and datasets, the assignments may be scheduled for execution by processes of nodes in a distributed system. The API call and query may also include implementation instructions that require storing dataset portions into memory that is associated with a process executing the assignment for an in-memory database implementation. As the assignment is executed using a dataset portion that is stored on memory associated with a process, results may be stored in a file. Once each assignment has been executed and has a result file, the result files are merged to provide results of the query and API call to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods detect and neutralize malware infected electronic communications. Interface information is received at a client machine over a network from a server. The interface information includes a first input mechanism authorized for causing a first prompt to be presented in a user interface to receive user information and countermeasure information enabling the client machine to inspect the interface information on the client machine to detect modification of the interface information. The client device uses the countermeasure information to detect whether the interface information has been modified to include a second input mechanism not authorized for causing a second prompt to be presented in the user interface to receive user information.

Abstract: Techniques are shown for key management using a traceable key block-chain ledger involving creating a cryptographic key at a key source, generating a key block on a block-chain ledger corresponding to the cryptographic key, and securely modifying the key block to include metadata describing the key source. The techniques also involve performing a first key transaction with the cryptographic key, generating a first transaction block on the block-chain ledger corresponding to the first key transaction with the cryptographic key, linking the first transaction block to the key block and securely modifying the first transaction block to include metadata describing the first key transaction with the cryptographic key.

Abstract: Technologies are shown for secure management of a data file secured on a data file management blockchain that involve generating a genesis block for a data file management blockchain that contains a data file to be managed and signing the genesis block to commit the genesis block to the data file management blockchain. One or more transaction data blocks are generated for the data file management blockchain that each include a modification to the data file and the blocks are signed to commit them to the blockchain. In some examples, the modifications describe changes to the data file and the transaction data blocks are traced to the genesis block and a current data file generated by applying the modifications on the transaction data blocks to the data file in a sequence determined by an order of the one or more transaction data blocks in the data file management blockchain.

Abstract: Techniques for mapping size information associated with a client to target brands, garments, sizes, shapes, and styles for which there is no standardized correlation. The size information associated with a client may be generated by modeling client garments, accessing computer aided drawing (CAD) files associated with client garments, or by analyzing a history of garment purchases associated with the client. Information for target garments may be generated in a similar fashion. A system may then create a standardized scale with a set of sizes for a target, and map a client base size to that standardized size scale. Similar matching and mapping may also be done with shape and style considerations. A recommendation based on the mapping may then be communicated to the client.

Abstract: A web-based item listing platform provides item listings that users can create or search. Item listings can be generated using structured information extracted while capturing an item listing video of the item. During creation of the item listing video, input prompts are provided to the user that cause a mobile device to provide an input request, such as taking an image of a specific feature of the item or providing some other item description information. During the item listing video, image recognition models may also be employed to determine other item description information, such as the color, the brand, and the like. The item listing can be generated from the item listing video by populating a set of structured data elements associated with an item description type. Each structured data element is populated with the item description information corresponding to the associated item description type.

Abstract: Search techniques are described that support locating and displaying prospective objects in digital images based on a removed object. A digital image, for instance, is received by a computing device as an input depicting a physical environment with various objects and displayed in a user interface. An object depicted by the digital image is removed. An aspect of the removed object is identified. A search system leverages the aspect to locate a prospective object. The prospective object is configured for display within the digital image. As a result, the digital image is displayed in the user interface as having the configured prospective object depicted in the physical environment.
