Abstract: The invention relates to a device comprising an absorption article, and an air-extraction device for humid conditions prevailing in the region of the absorption article, for example a diaper, when worn by a person, and also comprising a flexible container, which is arranged in the humid region of the person's body, is provided with apertures in its wall and has air exchanged by way of a pump. A method of operation for improving the conditions in the absorption article by having air extracted by suction from the absorption article using the air-extraction device is also described.
