    Abstract: The present invention provides a method for producing a back-contact back-sheet for a photovoltaic module comprising back-contact cells. The method comprising providing a substrate (210) having an outer surface (210os) facing the air-side of the photovoltaic module and an inner surface (210is) opposite the outer surface (210os) and facing the inside of the photovoltaic module. A layer of electrically conductive material (220) adapted to be formed as a connecting circuit (220c) to the electrodes of the solar cells is then applied to the substrate (210). The application of the layer of electrically conductive material (220) to the substrate (210) is performed in such a way that the layer of electrically conductive material (220) fixedly adheres to the inner surface (210is) of the substrate (210). The layer of electrically conductive material (220) is then processed so as to form the connecting circuit (220c).

The multi-layered structure comprises a non-extendible intermediate layer (240) comprised of a dielectric material. The multi-layered structure further comprises an upper layer (280) of an encapsulating material coupled to the upper surface (242) of the intermediate layer, as well as a lower layer (270) of a thermo-adhesive material coupled to the lower surface (244) of the intermediate layer (240). The multi-layered structure also has a plurality of through-holes pierced at predetermined positions.

    Abstract: A method for the production of a photovoltaic module comprising back-contact solar cells. A lower encapsulating layer, followed by an alignment and an application of the lower encapsulating layer to the inner surface of the back-contact back-sheet. The lower encapsulating layer, comprises a lower surface facing the back-contact back-sheet and an upper surface opposite the lower surface. The method includes adhesion of one or more predetermined portions of the lower surface of the encapsulating layer to the back-contact back-sheet, having each portion a predetermined superficial area which is lower than the total area of the lower surface of the lower encapsulating layer. The adhesion of the lower encapsulating layer is followed by the application of the lower encapsulating layer to the back-contact back-sheet.

    Abstract: The present invention proposes a back-contact back-sheet for a photovoltaic modules comprising back-contact solar cells. The back-contact back-sheet comprises an insulating substrate (210). On the surface of the insulating substrate (210) an electrically conductive material layer (220) is attached, which is adapted to be formed as a connecting circuit (220c). The insulating substrate (210) comprises a lower insulating portion (211) exposed toward the air-side of the photovoltaic module and a primer layer and a primer layer (218) applied onto the insulating portion (211). Thus, the primer layer (218) lies between the lower insulating portion (211) and the electrically conductive material layer (220). The primer layer (218) preferably comprises a material or a material mixture akin to and compatible with an encapsulating foil (400, 1000) to be applied to the inner face of the back-contact back-sheet.
