Abstract: A game call having variable tonal qualities wherein one or more sound boards have a ferromagnetic material carried in a selected region and wherein a second ferromagnetic material is mounted for selective movement relative to the ferromagnetic material carried on the sound board to vary the tones created on the sound board.
Abstract: A system and method for using an exemplar document or search query to retrieve relevant documents from an inverted index of a large corpus of documents. The system and method groups words by synonym and calculates term frequency (TF) and inverse document frequency (IDF) scores for the respective word groups. A composite term frequency-inverse document frequency (TF-IDF) score is calculated for each word group and the documents of the corpus are ranked based on the TF-IDF scores, utilizing a vector space model incorporating a cosine similarity function.
Abstract: An adjustable feeder attachable to a feed hopper includes a base plate that is connected to a motor. A series of recessions are evenly spaced along the outer edge of the base plate, and a plurality of arms are evenly disposed about outer edge of said base plate corresponding to the recessions. Each arm has a proximal end connected to the base plate and a distal end pivotable about the proximal end from a confined position proximate the base plate to an extended position away from the base plate. When the arms are in the confined position, the feeder is easily stored and transported. When the arms are in the extended position, the feeder is connectable to the bottom surface of the feed hopper, with a funnel attached to said base plate being positioned proximate a dispersing aperture in said feed hopper. Feed will travel through the funnel to a spin plate connected to the motor for the spin plate to distribute feed to the area surrounding the feeder.

Abstract: An apparatus for use as a game call contemplate a plurality of rotor mounted acoustical plates having differing tonal qualities which can be selectively positioned for engagement by a complimentary striking plate to produce individually distinct sounds or tones.
Abstract: A fishing lure includes a rattle that is adjustable between a rattling mode and a muted mode. The fishing lure includes a body having an outer surface and an inner surface. Inside the body is a rattle chamber and a muted chamber, with a channel connecting the rattle chamber with the muted chamber. The rattle is moveable between the muted chamber and the rattle chamber to determine when rattling is available and when the rattle is muted.
Abstract: A fishing lure includes a substantially hollow body with a composite weight pivotally positioned therein for generating a sound to attract fish to the fishing lure when it is retrieved in water. The body includes two side walls having a forward end and a rearward end. The side walls define at least two chambers within the body that are separated by an interior partition. The weight includes a tungsten knocking member cylindrical head member and a foot, with a lead base member substantially surrounding the foot. The weight has at least three sides, with one of the sides providing a base rocking surface that is opposite the tungsten knocking member. The composite weight is pivotally positioned on the base rocking surface in one of the hollow regions, such that when the fishing lure is retrieved in water, the weight will pivot from side to side within the body so that the tungsten knocker member intermittently engages the side walls to generate the desired sound and vibration to attract fish.
Abstract: A breech plug having a cylindrical body with a nipple on one end for receipt of a percussion element, and a stem on the other end with a length of constant uniform diameter, and a flash bore that extends longitudinally through the nipple, cylindrical body, and the stem.
