  • Patent number: 4169650
Abstract: A connector which is used for the termination of conductors in a wire-wrap assembly. The connector is used to terminate signal wire, twisted pair and shielded cables. It comprises a base which supports a terminal strip and a receptacle housing. The receptacle housing includes a plurality of receptacles with rearwardly extending wire-wrap prongs. The terminal strip includes forwardly extending posts and rearwardly extending tabs. Some conductors can be wrapped around the post while other conductors are engaged by clips which are connected to the tabs.

  • Patent number: 4136423
Abstract: Electrical cable clamp includes a body portion having a pair of channels, each for nesting one or more cables in abutting disposition and a movable jaw adapted to be drawn compressively against the nested cables while accommodating obliquely for differences in clamped cross-section within the respective channels. The body portion comprises a single sheet metal stamping formed into open-ended boxlike configuration embodying a generally flat base with a pair of lateral walls spaced intermediate opposed end walls, the edges of the lateral walls defining with the next adjacent end wall longitudinally spaced constraints along the channel permitting the clamped cables to belly therebetween. Outwardly turned ears on the body portion enables the clamp to be coupled to a slotted bracket.

  • Patent number: 4131257
Abstract: Cable clamp with laterally spaced pairs of "pigeon hole" jaws at interfaces of top, bottom and intermediate clamping blocks assembles into a stacked array by a threaded bolt. Each jaw comprises a notched, preferably V-notched, male portion interfitting loosely within an undercut, preferably V-ground, female portion through a specially designed lateral clearance permitting each block to skew to a limited extent for clamping cables of unequal diameters of any interface. Medial shoulders at each interface act as bottoming stops at each level to provide a multi-stacking array which provide controlled float and compression without pinching.
