Abstract: The instant disclosure relates to a hard disk quick release unit and a hard disk replacement module which includes a plurality of fixed guiding grooves and hard disk quick release units; each hard disk quick release unit includes a slidable guiding groove having at least a guiding member; at least a side fixing unit arranged adjacent to the outer side surface of the slidable guiding groove, the side fixing unit has a restricting groove, the guiding member engaged into the restricting groove for guiding the slidable guiding groove to move along a straight path; a cover board pivotally connected to the front end of the slidable guiding groove; and a resilient positioning member arranged on the front end of the slidable guiding groove, when the slidable guiding groove is moved to an exit position, the resilient positioning member engages with a side of the hard disk socket.

Abstract: A screwless hard disk drive (HDD) drawing box and a HDD swappable module are provided, which includes a HDD cartridge for receiving a hard disk drive. The HDD cartridge has a bottom board, and two sideboards connected to two opposite sides of the bottom board. The two side plates of the hard disk drive are close to the two sideboards. One of the sideboards has a plurality of fixing pins. The other sideboard of the HDD cartridge has a plurality of elastic snapping members opposite to the fixing pins. Each of the elastic snapping members has a snapping bump and an elastic element. Each snapping bump is arranged on the elastic element at the other sideboard of the HDD cartridge opposite to the fixing pins. The fixing pins and the snapping bumps are inserted in the thread holes of the two side plates of the hard disk drive.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a container having a base for receiving a drive, and a clam having a first end that is rotatably coupled to the base, a second end, and a body extending from the first end to the second end, the clam rotatable relative to the base so that the clam can be placed at a first position and a second position, wherein when the clam is at the first position, the container allows the drive to be placed therein, and wherein when the clam is at the second position, the clam secures the drive relative to the container. A frame includes at least sixteen slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 1U space. A frame includes at least forty-eight slots to receive respective drive storage devices, which store respective SFF8201 7 mm drives, in EIA RS310D 2U space.

Abstract: A server housing for accommodating plurality of hard drives includes a shell body and a plurality of cases. The shell body has a bottom wall, a circuit region and a plurality of partition walls parallel to each other. The circuit region and the partition walls are disposed on the bottom wall. The cases are respectively drawably disposed between the partition walls. A plurality of separation boards and a plurality of electrical contacts are disposed in the cases for accommodating the hard drives between the separation boards. Each of the separation boards has a planar face and a pair of abutting walls. A plurality of abutting protrusions is formed on each of the abutting walls and protrudes inward. The abutting protrusions of the abutting walls abut the hard drives between the separation boards. The electrical contacts provide electrical connection between the hard drives and the circuit region.

Abstract: A removable hard drive storage device comprises: a housing having a first and second partition board each formed with a plurality of guiding grooves; a plurality of hard drive casings accommodated between the first and second partition boards. Each of the hard drive casings has a first side plate and a second side plate whose surfaces are each formed with a plurality of guiding units slidably disposed in the guiding grooves. Upper ends of the first and second side plates are each formed with an expansion unit for engaging the upper edges of the first and second partition boards, fixing the hard drive casing at a raised position in the accommodating space. Through the above structure, the hard drive casing can be fixed at the raised position in the accommodating space without separating from the housing for facilitating replacement of the hard drive and without using screws.

The ribs and the base wall define a gap therebetween, and the gap has a width smaller than a thickness of the hard drive.
