Patent number: 11301803Abstract: A system for inventory and sales process control and display. The improved system for inventory includes a first database with a list of pre-assigned machine-readable code, a second database with a list of items, and a pricing database associated with each of the list of items in the second database. The second database is foreign keyed by machine-readable code number to the first database to associate one or more items listed in the second database with each of the pre-assigned machine-readable code. A query of the first database for a specific pre-assigned machine-readable code generates the associated list of items from the second database for that specific pre-assigned machine-readable code and a price for each of the items in the associated list of items. The system may also include at least one remote user interface.Type: GrantFiled: March 16, 2015Date of Patent: April 12, 2022Assignee: ECMD, Inc.Inventors: Steven Brown, J. Allen Dyer, Sankar Muthuvelayutham

Patent number: 9169651Abstract: A stairway system. The stairway system includes a plurality of spaced apart treads, a handrail and a baluster assembly. The baluster assembly includes at least one baluster per tread. The baluster includes at least one rake anchor adapted to abut the angled support surface of the handrail adjacent to one end of the baluster, a rake shoe adapted for concealing the interface between the rake anchor and the angled support surface of the handrail and an anchor assembly including an anchor adapted for receiving the other end of the baluster. The stairway system further includes a handrail support for supporting the handrail.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2012Date of Patent: October 27, 2015Assignee: ECMD, Inc.Inventor: David J. Wynne

Patent number: 7779582Abstract: A stairway system is disclosed that includes a plurality of spaced apart treads; a handrail; and at least two balusters per tread. Each baluster includes a top length segment, a bottom length segment and a turning length segment, the turning length segment including a defined feature. According to the present invention, the turning length segment of each subsequent baluster is greater than the turning length segment of the previous baluster according to the equation of the riser height divided by the total number of balusters. Thus, each feature in the bottom length segment of each of the balusters align with the tread for each baluster. In the preferred embodiment, only four different baluster lengths are necessary for both two and three balusters per tread.Type: GrantFiled: September 8, 2008Date of Patent: August 24, 2010Assignee: ECMD, Inc.Inventor: Robert H. Patent number: 7421824Abstract: A stairway system is disclosed that includes a plurality of spaced apart treads; a handrail; and at least two balusters per tread. Each baluster includes a top length segment, a bottom length segment and a turning length segment, the turning length segment including a portion of defined features. According to the present invention, a length of the turning length segment of a subsequent baluster is greater than a length of the turning length segment of a previous baluster on the same tread according to the equation of the riser height divided by the total number of balusters. Thus, each of a portion of the defined feature in the bottom length segment of each of the balusters align with the tread for each baluster. In the preferred embodiment, only four different baluster lengths are necessary for both two and three balusters per tread stairway systems.Type: GrantFiled: June 3, 2004Date of Patent: September 9, 2008Assignee: ECMD, Inc.Inventor: Robert H.
