Abstract: Apparatus and method for restoring plastics to oil, thereby efficiently recycling waste plastics, comprises a decomposer, an oil reduction body, a cooling tank, and a filter and emission part. The decomposer comprises a decomposition space comprising an opening to receive the plastic, a heating coil inside the decomposer to heat the decomposition space to pyrolyze the plastic, and a pyrolyzing gas exhaust pipe to exhaust pyrolyzing gas produced in pyrolyzing the plastic. The oil reduction body is divided into a cooling space and a oil catchment space by a partition. The cooling tank provides cooling water to the cooling space to cool and reduce the pyrolyzing gas to oil, which is collected in the oil catchment space.

Abstract: A selective collection system for recyclable containers comprising of a housing part, a material identification device, a control device, a collection part and a shredding device and/or a compressing device. The material identification device identifies the input material and transmits a signal to the control device, which categorizes the input material into a plastic bottle, a can, or other material based on the signal. The shredding device receives and shreds the input material if the input material is identified as a plastic bottle by the material identification device. The compressing device receives and compresses the input material if the input material is identified as a can. Other materials are collected by the collection part without any processing. The control device controls the overall operation of the selective collection system and comprises a display to display advertisements, messages and/or announcements.

Abstract: A selective collection system for recyclable containers comprising of a housing part, an input device, a material identification device, a sorting guide device, a shredding device, a compressing device, a collection part and a control device. The housing part cases internal component of the selective collection system. The input device is at the upper portion of a housing part and receives an input material laid horizontally on its side. The material identification device receives the input material from the input device and uses a pair of load cells and a metal detect sensor to transmit a signal to the control device, which categorizes the input material into a PET, an aluminum can, or other material based on the signal. The sorting guide device sorts and routes the input material received from the material identification device accordingly.
