    Abstract: A method of producing an offset lithographic printing plate including the steps of providing a grained, anodized and passivated aluminum plate of preferred surface roughness; applying a receptive coating to the grained aluminum plate; image-wise applying an inkjet fluid on top of the receptive coating; and heating the oleophilic inkjet fluid allowing an oleophilic resin of the inkjet fluid to bond with the grained aluminum.
