  • Patent number: 7527861
Abstract: A jobsite-renewable multilayer floor finish system has an undercoat employing a first hardening system, an autohardenable (e.g., two-part) topcoat employing a second hardening system, and at least one initiator for the topcoat hardening system in at least the undercoat. The initiator increases the topcoat hardening rate while reducing the topcoat pot life to a lesser extent than would be the case if the initiator were included only in the topcoat. The increased topcoat hardening rate facilitates earlier application of additional topcoat layers, or earlier return of the floor to service.

  • Publication number: 20090097029
Abstract: An optical detection sensor detects presence or absence of a product within a fluid delivery medium. An emitter directs radiation into the fluid delivery medium. Each of a plurality of detectors detects light within an associated one of a plurality of wavelength ranges transmitted through the fluid delivery medium. The output of each detector is further associated with at least one out-of-product threshold. A controller may further combine detector outputs, such as by multiplication, summation, or other mathematical operation, to produce additional measures of product presence or absence. Each combination output is also associated with at least one out-of-product threshold. The controller compares the output of each detector with the associated out-of-product threshold(s) and compares each combination output with the associated out-of-product threshold(s) to determine presence or absence of product within the fluid delivery medium.

  • Patent number: 7516082
Abstract: A method and system for routing a delivery vehicle to a chemical usage facility is disclosed. The chemical usage facility includes one or more chemical dispense systems that dispense one or more chemical product. The quantity of each chemical product remaining is measured and communicated to a central management facility. The central management facility analyzes a trend in product usage to predict when the product quantity will reach a threshold depletion point. The chemical usage facility is scheduled on the route according to the predicted time associated with the threshold depletion point.

  • Patent number: 7509770
Abstract: A reporting system collects, communicates and analyzes information from a plurality of pest monitoring locations. The monitored locations include activity sensing pest devices. These devices can include traps and/or passive and active monitoring devices not having a trapping or killing functionality. The system includes automatic reporting from the plurality of activity sensing pest devices and also includes physical inspection data. Preferably an automatic real-time communication system is used, with the preferred communication system being a radio-frequency (RF) or other over-the-air system. However, hardwired systems, use of a personal digital assistant (PDA) as an interim data carrier, and other technologies may also be employed. Manual input devices for providing the additional physical inspection data on the activity sensing pest device parameters and a computer based report generator (of the resulting combined data) provide for a robust and efficient pest monitoring and/or trapping tool.
