Abstract: A lighting control system comprises an input for receiving a mains supply voltage; an output for providing an output voltage signal for powering plural lamps; a controller; a first transformer connected to the input and being for reducing the mains supply voltage to a reduced voltage; a second transformer having a secondary winding connected in series between the first transformer and the output and having a primary winding connected to the controller, the secondary and primary windings being arranged so as to induce a supplementary voltage in the secondary winding when said primary winding is energised.
