    Abstract: A fan forces air through an air inlet channel to a mixing chamber where it is mixed with fuel, and the mixture is then fed to a burner. The combustion products of the burner provide heat to a heat exchanger which is connected to a discharge channel. The contamination of the system is measured, and the speed of the fan is increased upon an increase in the contamination. The heating system is automatically prevented from operating when the contamination exceeds a predetermined value.
