Abstract: A rectangular ceiling tile to be supported in an exposed type suspended grid system of perpendicularly crossing girders of inverted T-profile. The tile comprises a core of fiber material with two opposite first edges forming each a stepped groove, and two opposite second edges forming each a recess for receiving the girders therein. At least one metal or plastic element is inserted into the fiber material of the core in a transverse edge surface thereof and forms a protruding ridge extending transversely of the tile.
Abstract: A grid system for a suspended ceiling comprising mutually spaced main runners of T-profile suspended by means of hangers at the web of the T-profile, the flanges of the T-profile forming support surfaces for tiles. Apertures are punched at regular spacing in the web of the T-profile registering transversely of the main runners. Channeled girders opening upwards and extending over several main runners along registering apertures therein engage the main runners to define the spacing therebetween, the web of the T-profile being received in slots in the bottom and side walls (18) of the channeled girder. Each girder is fixedly connected with the runners by fastening elements engaging the apertures therein.

Abstract: An arrangement for connecting at least one transverse section (1, 2) and a main section (3) in a system of sections, especially for supporting suspended ceilings, comprises a laterally resilient locking tongue (9) projecting from the end of the transverse section and having a laterally projecting hook member (15), and a connecting hole (6) arranged in the main section and adapted to receive the locking tongue (9). Separate free-standing guide means (10, 11) are arranged on the end of the transverse section (1) for cooperating with the connecting hole (6) so as to impart to the transverse section (1, 2) and the main section (3) a fixed relative position when connected.
