Abstract: An improved VR headset accessory, and in particular, a case for carrying the VR headset that has advanced functionality necessary for facilitating portable maintenance and usage. For example, the accessory houses additional batteries and/or power source connections for charging the VR headset as well as ancillary devices for controlling the display of content in the VR headset to create a controlled viewing environment. The accessory also houses a communication component for sharing content with a remote server.
Abstract: An accessory for a virtual reality or augmented reality headset. The accessory may include a means for attaching to the headset in a secure fashion and a handle extending from the means for attaching to the headset, in which means neither the means for attaching nor the handle (or a hand of a user) impedes the functionality of the headset (e.g., by blocking cameras, surface features, charging means, etc.).
