Abstract: A compact applicator has a two-piece telescoping plunger. The compact applicator, with such telescoping plunger, has a full-size barrel region while maintaining an overall applicator length that is the same and/or slightly shorter than current known compact applicators. In a non-deployed configuration, the inner sleeve of the plunger is generally telescoped within the outer sleeve of the plunger, and the outer sleeve of the plunger is generally telescoped within the applicator barrel.

Abstract: A surface-mountable holder includes a rear surface adapted to be coupled with an affixing mechanism for mounting to an external surface. The surface-mountable holder further includes a front surface configured to magnetically secure a shaving razor. The front surface is adapted to receive an upper handle portion of the shaving razor. The upper handle portion is in close proximity to a razor portion of the shaving razor.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition with enhanced water resistance, color intensity and color retention after exposure to water is disclosed herein. The composition comprises a water dispersible film former component, a skin adhesion promoter component, a color enhancer component, and one or more colorants. The synergy of the components contributes to the improved attributes of the composition.

Optionally, articles of the present disclosure have a varying translucency or opacity about a dimension of the article.

Abstract: There is provided a tampon pledget that includes one or more enhanced features that result in the pledget exhibiting increased bypass leakage prevention. These enhanced features may include, but are not limited to, geometry, absorption, and any combinations thereof. There is also provided one or more methods for constructing a tampon pledget having increased bypass leakage protection.

The one or more insertion indicators may be located on the tampon applicator barrel, plunger, tampon, removal string, or any combinations thereof. As a result of the one or more insertion indicators, a woman can adjust the insertion depth of the tampon to her body's requirements ensuring leakage protection, comfort, or both.

Abstract: A tampon assembly having a barrel, a plunger, and a pledget is provided. The plunger is slidably received in the barrel. The pledget is in the barrel between the insertion tip and the plunger so that a force applied on the plunger can expel the pledget from the barrel. The barrel has a plurality of petals defining an insertion tip, which has a first taper ratio of more than about 0.3 to less than 1.0. The pledget has a shaped tip that is disposed in the insertion tip.

Abstract: A shaving implement has a guard provided to fit over a blade retaining cartridge of a razor configured for wet shaving. The guard has a frame defined by top and bottom rails, spaced by first and second side edges, and elongated members defining a grate. The elongated members have outwardly extending barbs configured to arrange facial hair during a shaving process. The guard is secured over the blade retaining cartridge of the razor. When disposed over the blade retaining cartridge, the grate portion of the guard spaces any blades retained in the cartridge from the surface of a user's skin while still leaving such blades at least partially exposed to the user's facial or body hair. This enables a user to trim, rather than fully shave, his hair and further protects the user's skin from the harmful effects of close shaving.

The at least one biasing element is configured to apply a biasing force against the cartridge mount portion that biases the cartridge mount portion in the normal first position. The lock mechanism is selectively translatable between a lock position and at least one unlocked position.

Abstract: A menstrual device having a storage volume. The menstrual device has a frame and a fluid harrier seal layer attached to the exterior surface of the frame. The menstrual device has an expanded configuration that includes an at rest configuration and a deployed configuration. The menstrual device has a compact configuration where the menstrual device is confined to a size, shape and/or geometry smaller than an expanded configuration such that it can be more easily inserted into the body. The menstrual device in a compact configuration is contained within an applicator, where the applicator assists in ejecting the menstrual device into the body.
