Abstract: A razor cartridge includes a frame and a razor blade. The frame includes a guard, a cap, an opening configured to receive a razor blade, and a blade-receiving slot. The blade-receiving slot includes a front support and a rear support. The front support includes a front side surface and a front blade locating surface. The rear support includes a rear side surface and a rear blade locating surface. The front side surface and the rear side surface are coplanar. The front blade locating surface and the rear blade locating surface extend from the coplanar side surfaces in generally opposite directions. The razor blade includes an edge portion and a support portion that are bent at an angle relative to one another. The support portion of the razor blade is positioned in the slot. A clip may be utilized to retain the razor blade in the slot.

Abstract: A razor cartridge has a housing with a blade mounting region between a guard and a cap. A first, second and third razor blade are sequentially mounted in the blade mounting region. An over-guard is secured over the blades. The cutting edges of the blades have an as-defined increased sharpness. The blades are mounted at a reduced angle between each blade portion bearing the cutting edge and a reference plane tangential to the cutting edges of the first and third blade. Individual longitudinal members of the over-guard that lie over each blade and have a progressively decreasing height above the reference plane in a front to back direction of the razor cartridge. A further longitudinal member is forward of the first blade and has a height above the reference plane.

The compact applicator, with such telescoping plunger, has a full-size barrel region while maintaining an overall applicator length that is the same and/or slightly shorter than current known compact applicators. In a non-deployed configuration, the inner sleeve of the plunger is generally telescoped within the outer sleeve of the plunger, and the outer sleeve of the plunger is generally telescoped within the applicator barrel.

Abstract: A surface-mountable holder includes a rear surface adapted to be coupled with an affixing mechanism for mounting to an external surface. The surface-mountable holder further includes a front surface configured to magnetically secure a shaving razor. The front surface is adapted to receive an upper handle portion of the shaving razor. The upper handle portion is in close proximity to a razor portion of the shaving razor.

The composition comprises a water dispersible film former component, a skin adhesion promoter component, a color enhancer component, and one or more colorants. The pledget is in the barrel between the insertion tip and the plunger so that a force applied on the plunger can expel the pledget from the barrel. The barrel has a plurality of petals defining an insertion tip, which has a first taper ratio of more than about 0.3 to less than 1.0. The pledget has a shaped tip that is disposed in the insertion tip.

Abstract: A shaving implement has a guard provided to fit over a blade retaining cartridge of a razor configured for wet shaving. The guard has a frame defined by top and bottom rails, spaced by first and second side edges, and elongated members defining a grate. The elongated members have outwardly extending barbs configured to arrange facial hair during a shaving process. The guard is secured over the blade retaining cartridge of the razor. When disposed over the blade retaining cartridge, the grate portion of the guard spaces any blades retained in the cartridge from the surface of a user's skin while still leaving such blades at least partially exposed to the user's facial or body hair. This enables a user to trim, rather than fully shave, his hair and further protects the user's skin from the harmful effects of close shaving.
